正月十二日、我離亞哈瓦河濱、欲往耶路撒冷、上帝祐我、援我於敵、乃途間伏兵。

保羅夜見異象、有馬其頓人、立而求之曰、請涉馬其頓助我、

平旦猶太人共謀、誓不殺保羅不飲食、同誓者四十餘人、就祭司諸長與長老曰、我儕曾誓、不殺保羅不食、今請爾曹與公會告千夫長、明日曳之見爾、言欲詳訊其情、於將至時、要而殺之、

如彼曰、爾我偕行、我匿於歧途、見無辜者殺之。

厥後、我至敘利亞、基利家地、

既竟此事、保羅定意行遊馬其頓、亞該亞、往耶路撒冷、曰、至耶路撒冷後、我欲觀羅馬矣、

中有惡人、匿於歧途、備設羅網、專務陷人、

望見居比路、則右行過之、至敘利亞、於推羅、登岸、舟當卸載、
