我有这样的把握，所以早就计划去你们那里，使你们有两次蒙福的机会。

保罗继续在哥林多逗留了相当时日，才向弟兄姊妹道别。他和百基拉、亚居拉乘船前往叙利亚。保罗因为许过愿，就在坚革哩剃了头发。

一月十二日，我们从亚哈瓦河边出发上耶路撒冷。我们的上帝施恩帮助我们，救我们脱离仇敌和路上埋伏之人的攻击。

当天晚上，保罗在异象中看见一个马其顿人站在那里恳求他：“请到马其顿来帮助我们！”

天亮后，犹太人设下阴谋，并起誓说：“不杀保罗，誓不吃喝！”有四十多人参与了这个阴谋。他们去见祭司长和长老，说：“我们已经发了誓，不杀保罗不吃饭。请你们和公会出面通知千夫长，请他把保罗押到你们这里来，就说要进一步审讯他。我们准备在他到达之前杀掉他！”

他们若说：“跟我们来吧，我们去埋伏杀人，暗害无辜者取乐；

后来我又到了叙利亚和基利迦地区。

这些事以后，保罗决定经过马其顿和亚该亚回到耶路撒冷。他说：“到了那里之后，我必须去罗马看看。”

我的子民中有恶人，他们像捕鸟人一样埋伏等候，设下网罗陷害人。

塞浦路斯遥遥在望，船从该岛的南面绕过，一直驶向叙利亚。因为船要在泰尔卸货，我们就在那里上了岸，
