I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.

I know that after I leave, wild wolves will come in among you. They won’t spare any of the sheep.

I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;

I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock.

“ Be on your guard against false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves.

Look up and see those coming from the north. Where is the flock entrusted to you, the sheep that were your pride?

The princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are wolves of the night, which leave nothing for the morning.

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says to the shepherds: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who have been feeding themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed their flock?You eat the fat, wear the wool, and butcher the fattened animals, but you do not tend the flock.
