Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

“ So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock— his church, purchased with his own blood— over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.

He protects His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them in the fold of His garment. He gently leads those that are nursing.

As they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work I have called them to.”

Give no offense to the Jews or the Greeks or the church of God,

For you know that you were redeemed from your empty way of life inherited from the fathers, not with perishable things like silver or gold,but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.

The elders who are good leaders should be considered worthy of an ample honorarium, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.

An overseer, therefore, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, an able teacher,

Paul and Timothy, slaves of Christ Jesus: To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons.

Shepherd Your people with Your staff, the flock that is Your possession. They live alone in a woodland surrounded by pastures. Let them graze in Bashan and Gilead as in ancient times.

Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights to give you the kingdom.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

He will stand and shepherd them in the strength of Yahweh, in the majestic name of Yahweh His God. They will live securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth.

We have redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit,to another, faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit,to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another, different kinds of languages, to another, interpretation of languages.But one and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each person as He wills.

When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to Him,“ You know that I love You.”“ Feed My lambs,” He told him.A second time He asked him,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to Him,“ You know that I love You.”“ Shepherd My sheep,” He told him.He asked him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved that He asked him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” He said,“ Lord, You know everything! You know that I love You.”“ Feed My sheep,” Jesus said.

Therefore I do not run like one who runs aimlessly or box like one beating the air.Instead, I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

For an overseer, as God’s administrator, must be blameless, not arrogant, not hot-tempered, not addicted to wine, not a bully, not greedy for money,

And God has placed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, managing, various kinds of languages.Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all do miracles?Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in other languages? Do all interpret?But desire the greater gifts. And I will show you an even better way.

He chose David His servant and took him from the sheepfolds;He brought him from tending ewes to be shepherd over His people Jacob— over Israel, His inheritance.He shepherded them with a pure heart and guided them with his skillful hands.

For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

I will give you shepherds who are loyal to Me, and they will shepherd you with knowledge and skill.

And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the leaders of Judah: because out of you will come a leader who will shepherd My people Israel.”

Look up and see those coming from the north. Where is the flock entrusted to you, the sheep that were your pride?

You eat the fat, wear the wool, and butcher the fattened animals, but you do not tend the flock.

Yet the Lord was pleased to crush Him severely. When You make Him a restitution offering, He will see His seed, He will prolong His days, and by His hand, the Lord’s pleasure will be accomplished.He will see it out of His anguish, and He will be satisfied with His knowledge. My righteous Servant will justify many, and He will carry their iniquities.Therefore I will give Him the many as a portion, and He will receive the mighty as spoil, because He submitted Himself to death, and was counted among the rebels; yet He bore the sin of many and interceded for the rebels.

The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of sense.

Then he said to the judges,“ Consider what you are doing, for you do not judge for man, but for the Lord, who is with you in the matter of judgment.And now, may the terror of the Lord be on you. Watch what you do, for there is no injustice or partiality or taking bribes with the Lord our God.”

And tell Archippus,“ Pay attention to the ministry you have received in the Lord, so that you can accomplish it.”

But if you will not listen, my innermost being will weep in secret because of your pride. My eyes will overflow with tears, for the Lord’s flock has been taken captive.

He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.

Yahweh my God says this:“ Shepherd the flock intended for slaughter.

And He personally gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the forces of Hades will not overpower it.

Do not neglect the gift that is in you; it was given to you through prophecy, with the laying on of hands by the council of elders.

We have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, in Him.

“ Be on your guard, so that your minds are not dulled from carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life, or that day will come on you unexpectedly

Make sure that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up, causing trouble and by it, defiling many.

For you have heard about my former way of life in Judaism: I persecuted God’s church to an extreme degree and tried to destroy it.

Now from Miletus, he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church.

“ You are My flock, the human flock of My pasture, and I am your God.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

When they had appointed elders in every church and prayed with fasting, they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed.

“ But you, be on your guard! They will hand you over to sanhedrins, and you will be flogged in the synagogues. You will stand before governors and kings because of Me, as a witness to them.

Then He remembered the days of the past, the days of Moses and his people. Where is He who brought them out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit among the flock?

He entered the most holy place once for all, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,how much more will the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to serve the living God?

Don’t you have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you look down on the church of God and embarrass those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I praise you? I do not praise you for this!

Tell me, you, the one I love: Where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you let them rest at noon? Why should I be like one who veils herself beside the flocks of your companions?If you do not know, most beautiful of women, follow the tracks of the flock, and pasture your young goats near the shepherds’ tents.

Nations, hear the word of the Lord, and tell it among the far off coastlands! Say: The One who scattered Israel will gather him. He will watch over him as a shepherd guards his flock,
