For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.

I haven’t let anyone keep me from telling you everything God wants you to do.

for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

because I did not avoid declaring to you the whole plan of God.

I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes.

For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

We reject all shameful deeds and underhanded methods. We don’t try to trick anyone or distort the word of God. We tell the truth before God, and all who are honest know this.

So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!

But the Pharisees and experts in religious law rejected God’s plan for them, for they had refused John’s baptism.

But God knew what would happen, and his prearranged plan was carried out when Jesus was betrayed. With the help of lawless Gentiles, you nailed him to a cross and killed him.

but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ.Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you.I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.

Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
