But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of God’s grace.

然我不以此為意、亦不以我生命為貴、惟思歡然前趨、以盡我程途、及我於主耶穌所受之職、以證天主恩寵之福音、

然吾於生命置之度外、無所顧惜。但望能完成吾之行程、及所受於主耶穌之使命、以證天主恩寵之福音而已。

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me— the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

But my life means nothing to me. My only goal is to finish the race. I want to complete the work the Lord Jesus has given me. He wants me to tell others about the good news of God’s grace.

But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus— the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.

But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

But I hold not my life of any account as dear unto myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

But I count my life of no value to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart,

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Through Silvanus, our faithful brother( for so I regard him), I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it!

But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, since otherwise grace is no longer grace.

we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed;

but at the proper time revealed His word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

For he was counted among us and received his share in this ministry.”

Paul, an apostle( not sent from men nor through human agency, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),

Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day.For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ( by grace you have been saved),and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,so that in the ages to come He might show the boundless riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;not a result of works, so that no one may boast.For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be firm, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be performed by their hands.

Then when he arrived and witnessed the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with resolute heart to remain true to the Lord;

And now I entrust you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us,looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you,to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people,

being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished;for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

But the Lord said to him,“ Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel;

Therefore I ask you not to become discouraged about my tribulations in your behalf, since they are your glory.

Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?Just as it is written:“ For Your sake we are killed all day long; We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Brothers and sisters, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.Therefore, all who are mature, let’s have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that to you as well;

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,whom He richly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior,so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

My confidence in you is great; my boasting in your behalf is great. I am filled with comfort; I am overflowing with joy in all our affliction.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am supplementing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions in behalf of His body, which is the church.

according to my eager expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose.But I am hard pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;

but we are of good courage and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.

For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better and lasting possession.

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth.

But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all.

And so the angel said to them,“ Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God, in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in difficulties,in beatings, in imprisonments, in mob attacks, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger,in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love,in the word of truth, and in the power of God; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left,by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true;as unknown and yet well known, as dying and yet behold, we are alive; as punished and yet not put to death,as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.

For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a commission nonetheless.What, then, is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in the Beloved.

And He said to me,‘ Go! For I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ ”

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.Everyone who competes in the games exercises self control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.Therefore I run in such a way as not to run aimlessly; I box in such a way, as to avoid hitting air;but I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

The Law came in so that the offense would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.

so that no one would be disturbed by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we have been destined for this.

I glorified You on the earth by accomplishing the work which You have given Me to do.

Now to the one who works, the wages are not credited as a favor, but as what is due.

but after we had already suffered and been treated abusively in Philippi, as you know, we had the boldness in our God to speak to you the gospel of God amid much opposition.

persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me!

how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard,God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.

For this reason I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to protect what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

and you are testifying as well, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
