But I count my life of no value to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

然我不以為意、不貴生命、但忻然馳驟、以盡我程、並主耶穌所授之職、以上帝恩寵福音示人、

然我不以此為意、亦不以我生命為貴、惟思歡然前趨、以盡我程途、及我於主耶穌所受之職、以證天主恩寵之福音、

然吾於生命置之度外、無所顧惜。但望能完成吾之行程、及所受於主耶穌之使命、以證天主恩寵之福音而已。

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me— the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

But my life means nothing to me. My only goal is to finish the race. I want to complete the work the Lord Jesus has given me. He wants me to tell others about the good news of God’s grace.

But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus— the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.

But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of God’s grace.

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

But I hold not my life of any account as dear unto myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

But I do not consider my life worth anything to myself, so that I may finish my task and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace.

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

Therefore, since we have this ministry because we were shown mercy, we do not give up.

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time for my departure is close.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.There is reserved for me in the future the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved His appearing.

So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, catastrophes, persecutions, and in pressures, because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I have written you this brief letter through Silvanus( I know him to be a faithful brother) to encourage you and to testify that this is the true grace of God. Take your stand in it!

Now if by grace, then it is not by works; otherwise grace ceases to be grace.

We are pressured in every way but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair;we are persecuted but not abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed.

In His own time He has revealed His message in the proclamation that I was entrusted with by the command of God our Savior:

For he was one of our number and was allotted a share in this ministry.”

Paul, an apostle— not from men or by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead—

Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day.For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!Together with Christ Jesus He also raised us up and seated us in the heavens,so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His grace through His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—not from works, so that no one can boast.For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.

Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

So they stayed there for some time and spoke boldly in reliance on the Lord, who testified to the message of His grace by granting that signs and wonders be performed through them.

When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged all of them to remain true to the Lord with a firm resolve of the heart,

“ And now I commit you to God and to the message of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.

Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us,keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you won’t grow weary and lose heart.

I will rescue you from the people and from the Gentiles. I now send you to themto open their eyes so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that by faith in Me they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified.’

For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people,

They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.God presented Him as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.God presented Him to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be righteous and declare righteous the one who has faith in Jesus.

But the Lord said to him,“ Go! For this man is My chosen instrument to take My name to Gentiles, kings, and the Israelites.

So then I ask you not to be discouraged over my afflictions on your behalf, for they are your glory.

Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?As it is written: Because of You we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.No, in all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us.For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers,height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead,I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.Therefore, all who are mature should think this way. And if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you.

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,He saved us— not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy— through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.He poured out this Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

I testified to both Jews and Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus.

I have great confidence in you; I have great pride in you. I am filled with encouragement; I am overcome with joy in all our afflictions.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I am completing in my flesh what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for His body, that is, the church.

My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all boldness, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.For me, living is Christ and dying is gain.Now if I live on in the flesh, this means fruitful work for me; and I don’t know which one I should choose.I am pressured by both. I have the desire to depart and be with Christ— which is far better—

and we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord.

For you sympathized with the prisoners and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, knowing that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession.

They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives in the face of death.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the proclamation might be fully made through me and all the Gentiles might hear. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.

But even if I am poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.

But the angel said to them,“ Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people:Today a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David.

But as God’s ministers, we commend ourselves in everything: by great endurance, by afflictions, by hardship, by difficulties,by beatings, by imprisonments, by riots, by labors, by sleepless nights, by times of hunger,by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,by the message of truth, by the power of God; through weapons of righteousness on the right hand and the left,through glory and dishonor, through slander and good report; as deceivers yet true;as unknown yet recognized; as dying and look— we live; as being disciplined yet not killed;as grieving yet always rejoicing; as poor yet enriching many; as having nothing yet possessing everything.

For if I do this willingly, I have a reward, but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship.What then is my reward? To preach the gospel and offer it free of charge and not make full use of my authority in the gospel.

to the praise of His glorious grace that He favored us with in the Beloved.

“ Then He said to me,‘ Go, because I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize.Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. However, they do it to receive a crown that will fade away, but we a crown that will never fade away.Therefore I do not run like one who runs aimlessly or box like one beating the air.Instead, I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

The law came along to multiply the trespass. But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even moreso that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers.

so that no one will be shaken by these persecutions. For you yourselves know that we are appointed to this.

I have glorified You on the earth by completing the work You gave Me to do.

Now to the one who works, pay is not considered as a gift, but as something owed.

On the contrary, after we had previously suffered, and we were treated outrageously in Philippi, as you know, we were emboldened by our God to speak the gospel of God to you in spite of great opposition.

along with the persecutions and sufferings that came to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured! Yet the Lord rescued me from them all.

how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was first spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.At the same time, God also testified by signs and wonders, various miracles, and distributions of gifts from the Holy Spirit according to His will.

and that is why I suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know the One I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.

You also will testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
