Utterly amazed, they asked:“ Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans?

They were completely amazed.“ How can this be?” they exclaimed.“ These people are all from Galilee,

After a little while those standing there approached and said to Peter,“ You certainly are one of them, since even your accent gives you away.”

As He was walking along the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, since they were fishermen.“ Follow Me,” He told them,“ and I will make you fish for people!”Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and He called them.Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed Him.

and they recognized that he was the one who used to sit and beg at the Beautiful Gate of the temple complex. So they were filled with awe and astonishment at what had happened to him.

Then they were all amazed, so they began to argue with one another, saying,“ What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”

Immediately he got up, picked up the mat, and went out in front of everyone. As a result, they were all astounded and gave glory to God, saying,“ We have never seen anything like this!”

When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian language,“ The gods have come down to us in the form of men!”And they started to call Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the main speaker.

And the crowds kept saying,“ This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee!”
