這樣，眾教會在信仰上得到堅固，人數天天都在增加。

因為這應許是給你們和你們的兒女，以及遠方的人，就是所有被主——我們的上帝呼召的人。」

因為十字架之道在將要滅亡的人看來是愚昧的，但對我們這些得救的人來說卻是上帝的大能，

其他人不敢接近他們，不過百姓都很敬重他們。信主的人數不斷增加，男女都有。

結果，那天約有三千人相信了他傳的道，接受了洗禮。

巴拿巴是個被聖靈充滿、信心堅定的好人。那時信主的人大大增加。

外族人聽後，非常歡喜，頌讚主的道。凡被選定得永生的人都信了主。

但我們的救主上帝向人彰顯了祂的恩慈和仁愛，藉著重生之洗和聖靈的更新拯救了我們，這並非因為我們有義行，而是因為祂的憐憫。

以這樣的態度事奉基督的人才會得到上帝的喜悅和大家的稱讚。

祂所預定的人，祂也呼召他們；祂所呼召的人，祂也稱他們為義人；祂稱為義人的，祂也使他們得榮耀。

關於以色列人，以賽亞先知曾疾呼：「以色列人雖多如海沙，但得救的只是剩餘的人，

現在的情況也是一樣，上帝按照揀選的恩典留下了少數人。既然說是出於恩典，就不再基於行為，不然恩典就不再是恩典了。這該怎麼說呢？以色列人努力追求，卻一無所得，只有蒙揀選的人得到了，其他的人都變得頑固不化。

耶穌漸漸長大，智慧與日俱增，越來越受上帝和人們的喜愛。

官長實在不知道如何懲治使徒，只好再三恐嚇之後把他們放了，因為百姓都為這個神蹟讚美上帝。

只是無從下手，因為百姓都十分喜愛聽祂講道。

使徒充滿能力，繼續為主耶穌復活的事做見證，上帝也賜下極大的恩典給眾人。
