Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,

七日的第一日，我們聚會擘餅的時候，保羅因次日要起行，就為他們講道，直講到半夜。

耶和華啊，求你將你的道指教我，我要照你的真理而行；求你使我專心敬畏你的名！

我們所誇的是：我們在世為人，特別是跟你們的關係，是憑着上帝所賜的坦率和真誠，不是靠人的聰明，而是靠上帝的恩惠；這是我們的良心可以作證的。

於是獄警領他們上自己的家裏去，給他們擺上飯。他和全家的人，因為信了上帝，都滿心喜樂。

他們都專注於使徒的教導和彼此的團契，擘餅和祈禱。

他們一進城，就上了所住的樓房；在那裏有彼得、約翰、雅各、安得烈、腓力、多馬、巴多羅買、馬太、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、激進黨的西門，和雅各的兒子猶大。這些人和幾個婦人，包括耶穌的母親馬利亞，和耶穌的兄弟，都同心合意地恆切禱告。

尼希米對他們說：「你們去吃肥美的，喝甘甜的，有不能預備的就分給他，因為今日是我們主的聖日。你們不要憂愁，因靠耶和華而得的喜樂是你們的力量。」

或勸勉的，要專一勸勉；施捨的，要誠實；治理的，要殷勤；憐憫人的，要樂意。

常在聖殿裏稱頌上帝。

你們聚會的時候，不是在吃主的晚餐，因為吃的時候，各人先吃自己的飯，甚至有人飢餓，有人酒醉。難道你們沒有家可以吃喝嗎？還是你們藐視上帝的教會，使那沒有的羞愧呢？我該對你們說甚麼呢？我要稱讚你們嗎？在這事上我絕不稱讚你們！

你和你的兒女、僕婢，以及住在你城裏的利未人、在你中間寄居的和孤兒寡婦，都要在那裏，耶和華－你上帝選擇作為他名居所的地方，在耶和華－你上帝面前歡樂。

你們作僕人的，要凡事聽從你們肉身的主人，不要只在眼前服事，像是討人喜歡的，總要心存誠實，因為你們敬畏主。

你只管歡歡喜喜吃你的飯，心中快樂喝你的酒，因為上帝已經悅納你的作為。

坐下來和他們用餐的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝福了，擘開，遞給他們。

「眼睛是身體的燈。你的眼睛若明亮，全身就光明；

我若謝恩而吃，為甚麼因我謝恩的物被人毀謗呢？所以，你們或吃或喝，無論做甚麼，都要為榮耀上帝而做。

下午三點鐘禱告的時候，彼得和約翰上聖殿去。

使徒聽了這話，天將亮的時候就進聖殿裏去教導人。大祭司和他一起的人來了，叫齊議會的人和以色列人的眾長老，然後派人到監牢裏去把使徒提出來。

只要把杯盤裏面的施捨給人，對你們來說一切就都潔淨了。

在那裏，你們和你們的全家都可以在耶和華－你們上帝的面前吃，並且因你們手所做的一切蒙耶和華－你的上帝賜福而歡樂。

你們和兒女、僕婢，以及住在你們城裏，沒有與你們一起分得產業的利未人，都要在耶和華－你們的上帝面前歡樂。

我只怕你們的心偏邪了，失去那向基督所獻誠懇貞潔的心，就像蛇用詭詐誘惑了夏娃一樣。

作僕人的，你們要懼怕戰兢，用誠實的心聽從你們肉身的主人，好像聽從基督一般；
