When they heard this, they came under deep conviction and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles:“ Brothers, what must we do?”

The crowds paid attention with one mind to what Philip said, as they heard and saw the signs he was performing.For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed, and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.So there was great joy in that city.

You did not despise or reject me though my physical condition was a trial for you. On the contrary, you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus Himself.What happened to this sense of being blessed you had? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me.

During these days Peter stood up among the brothers— the number of people who were together was about 120— and said:

Your people will volunteer on Your day of battle. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of Your youth belongs to You.

“ Master,” Simon replied,“ we’ve worked hard all night long and caught nothing! But at Your word, I’ll let down the nets.”When they did this, they caught a great number of fish, and their nets began to tear.So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them; they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

“ I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

May there be plenty of grain in the land; may it wave on the tops of the mountains. May its crops be like Lebanon. May people flourish in the cities like the grass of the field.May his name endure forever; as long as the sun shines, may his fame increase. May all nations be blessed by him and call him blessed.

and you became imitators of us and of the Lord when, in spite of severe persecution, you welcomed the message with joy from the Holy Spirit.
