And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as[ he did] unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of[ this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of[ his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:

Who hath saved us, and called[ us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Who are Israelites; to whom[ pertaineth] the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service[ of God], and the promises;

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

For if the firstfruit[ be] holy, the lump[ is] also[ holy]: and if the root[ be] holy, so[ are] the branches.And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.Ye[ are] blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

For the gifts and calling of God[ are] without repentance.

Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
