And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Peter replied,“ Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Peter replied,“ All of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then your sins will be forgiven. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And Peter said to them,“ Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Peter replied,“ Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Peter replied,“ Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Peter said to them,“ Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Then Peter said to them,“ Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

“ Repent,” Peter said to them,“ and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name.

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

But when they believed Philip preaching good tidings concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them that heard the word.And they of the circumcision that believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit.

which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;

who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit:for as yet it was fallen upon none of them: only they had been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

And as they went on the way, they came unto a certain water; and the eunuch saith, Behold, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him that should come after him, that is, on Jesus.And when they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

From that time began Jesus to preach, and to say, Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent:

but this is that which hath been spoken through the prophet Joel:And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.

And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep mine ordinances, and do them.

Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

but declared both to them of Damascus first, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judæa, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

But what think ye? A man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to- day in the vineyard.And he answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented himself, and went.And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.Which of the two did the will of his father? They say, The first. testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:and they shall spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.

to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.

Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:

and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel.

But Peter said unto him, Thy silver perish with thee, because thou hast thought to obtain the gift of God with money.

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul?I thank God that I baptized none of you, save Crispus and Gaius;lest any man should say that ye were baptized into my name.And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made void.

Him did God exalt with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first- born.

And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of repentance:and think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.And they spake the word of the Lord unto him, with all that were in his house.And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, immediately.And he brought them up into his house, and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, with all his house, having believed in God.

until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be esteemed as a forest.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.

not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Now all the publicans and sinners were drawing near unto him to hear him.And both the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.And he spake unto them this parable, saying,What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and his neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.I say unto you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.Or what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and seek diligently until she find it?And when she hath found it, she calleth together her friends and neighbors, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I had lost.Even so, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.And he said, A certain man had two sons:and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of thy substance that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together and took his journey into a far country; and there he wasted his substance with riotous living.And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that country; and he began to be in want.And he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.But when he came to himself he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish here with hunger!I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight:I am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.And he arose, and came to his father. But while he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight: I am no more worthy to be called thy son.But the father said to his servants, Bring forth quickly the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:and bring the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat, and make merry:for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.And he called to him one of the servants, and inquired what these things might be.And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.But he was angry, and would not go in: and his father came out, and entreated him.But he answered and said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, and I never transgressed a commandment of thine; and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:but when this thy son came, who hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou killedst for him the fatted calf.And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that is mine is thine.But it was meet to make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

neither will I hide my face any more from them; for I have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.
