Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles,“ Brothers, what should we do?”

It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

When they heard this, the high council was furious and decided to kill them.
