Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,“ Brothers, what shall we do?”

When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles,“ Brothers, what shall we do?”

When the people heard this, it had a deep effect on them. They said to Peter and the other apostles,“ Brothers, what should we do?”

Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles,“ Brothers, what should we do?”

When they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,“ Brothers, what should we do?”

And the crowds asked him,“ What then shall we do?”

And if any survivors escape, they will be on the mountains, like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, each one over his iniquity.

And the jailer called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas.Then he brought them out and said,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”And they said,“ Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

And I said,‘ What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me,‘ Rise, and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all that is appointed for you to do.’

I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died.

But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.

But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all,the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, falling on his face, he will worship God and declare that God is really among you.

Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him.

Soldiers also asked him,“ And we, what shall we do?” And he said to them,“ Do not extort money from anyone by threats or by false accusation, and be content with your wages.”

And as he reasoned about righteousness and self-control and the coming judgment, Felix was alarmed and said,“ Go away for the present. When I get an opportunity I will summon you.”At the same time he hoped that money would be given him by Paul. So he sent for him often and conversed with him.

Tax collectors also came to be baptized and said to him,“ Teacher, what shall we do?”

And he said,“ Who are you, Lord?” And he said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.But rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.”

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them.

“ And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

“ Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.
