爾示我以生命之道、必使我於爾前喜樂充滿、

指我生命路、飫我承顏欣。

You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.’

You always show me the path that leads to life. You will fill me with joy when I am with you.’( Psalm 16:8–11)

looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Many there are that say, Who will show us any good? Jehovah, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.Thou hast put gladness in my heart, More than they have when their grain and their new wine are increased.

I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice;

As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with beholding thy form.
