“ Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

“ Fellow Israelites, listen to this! Jesus of Nazareth was a man who had God’s approval. God did miracles, wonders and signs among you through Jesus. You yourselves know this.

“ Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know—

“ People of Israel, listen! God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know.

“ Fellow Israelites, listen to these words: This Jesus of Nazareth was a man attested to you by God with miracles, wonders, and signs that God did among you through him, just as you yourselves know.

“ Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a Man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—

“ Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God unto you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as ye yourselves know;

“ Men of Israel, listen to these words: This Jesus the Nazarene was a man pointed out to you by God with miracles, wonders, and signs that God did among you through Him, just as you yourselves know.

He came to Jesus at night and said,“ Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” (niv)

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (niv)

But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (niv)

God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. (niv)

When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man. (niv)

then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. (niv)

Then Jesus said,“ Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said,“ Father, I thank you that you have heard me.I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” (niv)

For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs Moses handed down to us.” (niv)

You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached—how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. (niv)

Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word. (niv)

Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews. (niv)

“ I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me. (niv)

When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciplesto ask him,“ Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”Jesus replied,“ Go back and report to John what you hear and see:The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.” (niv)

“ I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth. (niv)

I persevered in demonstrating among you the marks of a true apostle, including signs, wonders and miracles. (niv)

Standing up, Paul motioned with his hand and said:“ Fellow Israelites and you Gentiles who worship God, listen to me! (niv)

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote— Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” (niv)

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.” (niv)

When the men came to Jesus, they said,“ John the Baptist sent us to you to ask,‘ Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?’”At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind.So he replied to the messengers,“ Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.” (niv)

When Peter saw this, he said to them:“ Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? (niv)

“‘ Who are you, Lord?’ I asked.“‘ I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting,’ he replied. (niv)

shouting,“ Fellow Israelites, help us! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.” (niv)

Then he addressed the Sanhedrin:“ Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. (niv)

In his defense Jesus said to them,“ My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.Jesus gave them this answer:“ Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. (niv)

“ Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him,“ you will never believe.” (niv)

and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets, that he would be called a Nazarene. (niv)

“ We have found this man to be a troublemaker, stirring up riots among the Jews all over the world. He is a ringleader of the Nazarene sect (niv)

If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.” (niv)

If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. (niv)

The king is familiar with these things, and I can speak freely to him. I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, because it was not done in a corner. (niv)
