突然，有響聲從天上下來，好像狂風吹過，充滿了他們所坐的整個房子，

忽有聲自天如烈風衝突、充乎所坐之室、

忽自天有聲、如奮迅之風、充滿坐室、

忽自天有聲、如烈風迅吹、充滿所坐之室、

忽有聲來自天上、若大風之驟至、充乎全室；

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

他們禱告完了，聚會的地方震動；他們都被聖靈充滿，放膽傳講上帝的道。

耶和華說：「你出來站在山上，在耶和華面前。」看哪，耶和華從那裏經過。在耶和華面前有烈風大作，山崩石裂，耶和華卻不在風中；風後有地震，耶和華也不在其中；

他乘坐基路伯飛行，藉着風的翅膀快飛，

風隨着意思吹，你聽見風的聲音，卻不知道是從哪裏來，往哪裏去；凡從聖靈生的也是如此。」

約在半夜，保羅和西拉正在禱告，唱詩讚美上帝，眾囚犯也側耳聽着的時候，忽然，地大震動，甚至監牢的地基都搖動了，監門立刻全開，眾囚犯的鎖鏈也都解開了。

他們尚未求告，我就應允；正說話的時候，我就垂聽。

那時，靈將我舉起，我就聽見在我身後有極大震動的聲音：「耶和華的榮耀，從他所在之處，是應當稱頌的！」有活物的翅膀相碰的聲音，也有活物旁邊輪子的聲音，是極大震動的聲音。

耶和華對我說：「人子啊，你要說預言，向風說預言。你要說，耶和華如此說：氣息啊，要從四方而來，吹在這些被殺的人身上，使他們活過來。」於是我遵命說預言，氣息就進入骸骨，骸骨就活過來，並且用腳站起來，成為極大的軍隊。

北風啊，興起！南風啊，吹來！吹在我的園內，使其中的香氣散發出來。願我的良人進入自己園裏，吃他佳美的果子。

萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪，我要差遣我的使者在我前面預備道路。你們所尋求的主必忽然來到他的殿；立約的使者，就是你們所仰慕的，看哪，快要來到。」

忽然，有一大隊天兵同那天使讚美上帝說：
