忽有聲自天如烈風衝突、充乎所坐之室、

忽自天有聲、如奮迅之風、充滿坐室、

忽自天有聲、如烈風迅吹、充滿所坐之室、

忽有聲來自天上、若大風之驟至、充乎全室；

他们祷告完了，聚会的地方震动；他们都被圣灵充满，放胆传讲上帝的道。

耶和华说：“你出来站在山上，在耶和华面前。”看哪，耶和华从那里经过。在耶和华面前有烈风大作，山崩石裂，耶和华却不在风中；风后有地震，耶和华也不在其中；

他乘坐基路伯飞行，藉着风的翅膀快飞，

风随着意思吹，你听见风的声音，却不知道是从哪里来，往哪里去；凡从圣灵生的也是如此。”

约在半夜，保罗和西拉正在祷告，唱诗赞美上帝，众囚犯也侧耳听着的时候，忽然，地大震动，甚至监牢的地基都摇动了，监门立刻全开，众囚犯的锁链也都解开了。

他们尚未求告，我就应允；正说话的时候，我就垂听。

那时，灵将我举起，我就听见在我身后有极大震动的声音：“耶和华的荣耀，从他所在之处，是应当称颂的！”有活物的翅膀相碰的声音，也有活物旁边轮子的声音，是极大震动的声音。

耶和华对我说：“人子啊，你要说预言，向风说预言。你要说，耶和华如此说：气息啊，要从四方而来，吹在这些被杀的人身上，使他们活过来。”于是我遵命说预言，气息就进入骸骨，骸骨就活过来，并且用脚站起来，成为极大的军队。

北风啊，兴起！南风啊，吹来！吹在我的园内，使其中的香气散发出来。愿我的良人进入自己园里，吃他佳美的果子。

万军之耶和华说：“看哪，我要差遣我的使者在我前面预备道路。你们所寻求的主必忽然来到他的殿；立约的使者，就是你们所仰慕的，看哪，快要来到。”

忽然，有一大队天兵同那天使赞美上帝说：
