Suddenly a sound came from heaven. It was like a strong wind blowing. It filled the whole house where they were sitting.

驀然間有響聲從天上來、像猛烈的風颳着的響聲，充滿了他們所坐的整個屋子。

突然，有響聲從天上下來，好像狂風吹過，充滿了他們所坐的整個房子，

忽有聲自天如烈風衝突、充乎所坐之室、

忽自天有聲、如奮迅之風、充滿坐室、

忽自天有聲、如烈風迅吹、充滿所坐之室、

忽有聲來自天上、若大風之驟至、充乎全室；

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

Suddenly a sound like that of a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were staying.

And suddenly a noise like a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Suddenly a sound like that of a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were staying.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Suddenly a sound like a violent wind blowing came from heaven and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit. They were bold when they spoke God’s word.

The Lord said,“ Go out. Stand on the mountain in front of me. I am going to pass by.” As the Lord approached, a very powerful wind tore the mountains apart. It broke up the rocks. But the Lord wasn’t in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake. But the Lord wasn’t in the earthquake.

He stood on the cherubim and flew. The wings of the wind lifted him up.

The wind blows where it wants to. You hear the sound it makes. But you can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going. It is the same with everyone who is born with the Spirit.”

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying. They were also singing hymns to God. The other prisoners were listening to them.Suddenly there was a powerful earthquake. It shook the prison from top to bottom. All at once the prison doors flew open. Everyone’s chains came loose.

Even before they call out to me, I will answer them. While they are still speaking, I will hear them.

Then the Spirit of the Lord lifted me up. I heard a loud rumbling sound behind me. The sound was made when the glory of the Lord rose up. It rose up from the place it had been standing.The sound was made by the wings of the living creatures. They were brushing against one another. The sound was also made by the wheels beside them. It was a loud rumbling sound.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell it,‘ The Lord and King says,“ Breath, come from all four directions. Go into these people who have been killed. Then they can live.” ’ ”So I prophesied just as he commanded me to. And breath entered them. Then they came to life again. They stood up on their feet. They were like a huge army.

“ Wake up, north wind! Come, south wind! Blow on my garden. Then its sweet smell will spread everywhere. Let my love come into his garden. Let him taste its fine fruits.”

The Lord who rules over all says,“ I will send my messenger. He will prepare my way for me. Then suddenly the Lord you are looking for will come to his temple. The messenger of the covenant will come. He is the one you long for.”

Suddenly a large group of angels from heaven also appeared. They were praising God. They said,
