忽有聲自天如烈風衝突、充乎所坐之室、

忽自天有聲、如奮迅之風、充滿坐室、

忽自天有聲、如烈風迅吹、充滿所坐之室、

忽有聲來自天上、若大風之驟至、充乎全室；

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

And he said,“ Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

He rode on a cherub and flew; he came swiftly on the wings of the wind.

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.

Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.

Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great earthquake:“ Blessed be the glory of the Lord from its place!”It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the sound of the wheels beside them, and the sound of a great earthquake.

Then he said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Awake, O north wind, and come, O south wind! Blow upon my garden, let its spices flow. Let my beloved come to his garden, and eat its choicest fruits.

“ Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
