忽然有一阵好像强风吹过的响声，从天而来，充满了他们坐在里面的整间屋子。

突然，有響聲從天上下來，好像狂風吹過，充滿了他們所坐的整個房子，

忽有聲自天如烈風衝突、充乎所坐之室、

忽自天有聲、如奮迅之風、充滿坐室、

忽自天有聲、如烈風迅吹、充滿所坐之室、

忽有聲來自天上、若大風之驟至、充乎全室；

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

他们祷告完了，聚会的地方震动起来，他们都被圣灵充满，放胆传讲神的道。

耶和华说：“你出来站在山上，在我耶和华面前。”那时，耶和华从那里经过。在耶和华面前有强烈的大风，山崩石碎，但耶和华不在风中；风过以后有地震，但耶和华也不在地震中；

他乘着基路伯飞行，藉着风的翅膀急飞。

风随意而吹，你听见它的响声，却不知道它从哪里来，往哪里去；凡从圣灵生的，也是这样。”

约在半夜，保罗和西拉祈祷歌颂神，囚犯们都侧耳听着。忽然发生了大地震，以致监牢的地基都摇动起来，所有的监门立刻开了，囚犯的锁链都松了。

那时，他们还未呼求，我就应允，他们还在说话，我就垂听。

那时，灵使我升起，我就听见后面有轰轰的响声：“耶和华的居所显现出来的荣耀是应当称颂的！”我又听见那些活物的翅膀彼此相碰的声音和活物旁边的轮子的声音，以及轰轰的响声。

他对我说：“你要向气息说预言。人子啊！你要说预言。你要向气息说：‘主耶和华这样说：气息啊！你要从四方（“四方”原文作“四风”）而来，吹在这些被杀的人身上，使它们活过来。’”于是我遵命说预言，气息就进入骸骨里面，骸骨就活过来，并且站起，成了一支极大的军队。

北风啊！兴起。南风啊！吹来。吹进我的园里，让其中的香气散播出来。愿我的良人进入他自己的园中，享用他佳美的果子。

万军之耶和华说：“看哪！我派我的使者，在我前面预备道路；你们所寻求的主，必忽然进入他的殿；你们所爱慕立约的使者，就要来到。”

忽然有一大队天兵，同那天使一起赞美神说：
