‘ And in the last days it will be,’ God says,‘ that I will pour out my Spirit on all people, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.

For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who survive, just as the LORD has promised; the remnant will be those whom the LORD will call.

For I will pour water on the parched ground and cause streams to flow on the dry land. I will pour my spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your children.

And God has placed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, gifts of healing, helps, gifts of leadership, different kinds of tongues.

“ I will pour out on the kingship of David and the population of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication so that they will look to me, the one they have pierced. to another performance of miracles, to another prophecy, and to another discernment of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.

Afterward, the Israelites will turn and seek the LORD their God and their Davidic king. Then they will submit to the LORD in fear and receive his blessings in the future.

I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them; I will remove the hearts of stone from their bodies and I will give them tender hearts,

Above all, understand this: In the last days blatant scoffers will come, being propelled by their own evil urges

and all humanity will see the salvation of God.’”

From one month to the next and from one Sabbath to the next, all people will come to worship me,” says the LORD.

He will descend like rain on the mown grass, like showers that drench the earth.

In the future the mountain of the LORD’s temple will endure as the most important of mountains, and will be the most prominent of hills. All the nations will stream to it,

Be silent in the LORD’s presence, all people everywhere, for he is being moved to action in his holy dwelling place.

I will no longer hide my face from them, when I pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the sovereign LORD.”

And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.

In the future the LORD’s Temple Mount will be the most important mountain of all; it will be more prominent than other hills. People will stream to it.

I will sprinkle you with pure water and you will be clean from all your impurities. I will purify you from all your idols.I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your body and give you a heart of flesh.I will put my Spirit within you; I will take the initiative and you will obey my statutes and carefully observe my regulations.

If only you will respond to my rebuke, then I will pour out my thoughts to you and I will make my words known to you.

I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will get drunk on their own blood, as if it were wine. Then all humankind will recognize that I am the LORD, your deliverer, your protector, the powerful ruler of Jacob.”

This desolation will continue until new life is poured out on us from heaven. Then the desert will become an orchard and the orchard will be considered a forest.Justice will settle down in the desert and fairness will live in the orchard.

Jacob called for his sons and said,“ Gather together so I can tell you what will happen to you in the future.

The splendor of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it at the same time. For the LORD has decreed it.”

Your gold and silver have rusted and their rust will be a witness against you. It will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have hoarded treasure!

What should you do then, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a song, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the strengthening of the church.If someone speaks in a tongue, it should be two, or at the most three, one after the other, and someone must interpret.But if there is no interpreter, he should be silent in the church. Let him speak to himself and to God.Two or three prophets should speak and the others should evaluate what is said.And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.For you can all prophesy one after another, so all can learn and be encouraged.

Now I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to future days.”

You hear prayers; all people approach you.

God saw the earth, and indeed it was ruined, for all living creatures on the earth were sinful.

One of them, named Agabus, got up and predicted by the Spirit that a severe famine was about to come over the whole inhabited world.( This took place during the reign of Claudius.)
