耶稣受难之后，用很多确据向这些人显明自己是活着的。他在四十天的时间里向他们显现，并且讲说有关神国的事。

后来，当有些人心里刚硬、不肯信从，在会众面前诽谤这道的时候，保罗就离开他们，把门徒们分别出来，天天在特拉诺斯讲堂里讲论。

各位蒙爱的人哪，我一直十分殷切地要写信给你们，谈论我们共有的救恩；我感到有必要写信鼓励你们，为曾经一次性地托付给圣徒们的信仰而努力争战，

保罗和赛拉斯经过安菲波利斯和阿波罗尼亚，来到帖撒罗尼迦。那里有一个犹太人的会堂。保罗照习惯进了会堂，一连三个安息日，引用经文向他们讲论，讲解并说明基督必须受难，然后从死人中复活，并且说：“我传给你们的这位耶稣，就是基督。”

有一次在以哥念，保罗和巴拿巴同样进了犹太人的会堂讲道，结果有一大群犹太人和希腊人信了。

每逢安息日，保罗就在会堂里讲论，劝导犹太人和希腊人。

于是他在会堂里向犹太人以及那些敬神的人讲论，每天又向在街市上遇见的人讲论。

保罗和巴拿巴就放胆直言，说：“神的话语先传给你们是必须的。既然你们弃绝这道，断定自己不配得永恒的生命，看哪，我们就转向外邦人，

他们从佩尔格往前行，来到皮西迪亚地区的安提阿，在安息日那天，就进了会堂坐下。

然而我蒙了从神而来的帮助，直到今天仍能站立得住，不但向卑微的，还向尊贵的做见证。我所讲的，不外乎先知们和摩西所说的那些将要成就的事，就是基督要受难，要成为第一个从死人中复活的人，要把光传给这子民和外邦人。”

就立刻在各会堂里传讲耶稣，说这一位就是神的儿子。所有听见的人都十分惊讶，说：“这不就是那个在耶路撒冷残害了那些求告这名的人吗？而且他来到这里，不就是为要捆绑他们，带到祭司长们那里吗？”扫罗反而更加得以刚强，证明这一位就是基督，使住在大马士革的犹太人很狼狈。

他们到达以弗所城，保罗把他们两个人留在那里，自己就进了会堂向犹太人讲论。
