然而，我得到神的幫助，直到今日還是站得穩，向尊卑老幼作見證，我所講的都是眾先知和摩西所論的將來必成的事，就是基督必須受難，並且從死人中首先復活，把光明的信息傳報給這人民和外族人。”

隨即在各會堂傳講耶穌，說他是神的兒子。聽見的人都很驚奇，說：“在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的，不是這個人嗎？他來這裡不是要緝拿他們交給祭司長嗎？”然而掃羅更加有能力，駁倒住在大馬士革的猶太人，證明耶穌是基督。

到了以弗所，保羅留他們在那裡，自己卻到會堂去，跟猶太人辯論。
