親愛的弟兄姊妹，我一直迫切地想寫信跟你們談談我們所共享的救恩，但現在我覺得有必要寫信勸勉你們竭力護衛一次就完整地交給聖徒的真道。

他們由別加繼續前行，來到彼西底區的安提阿。在安息日那天，他們進了會堂坐下來。

然而，我靠著上帝的幫助，到今天還能站在這裡向所有尊卑老幼做見證。我講的不外乎眾先知和摩西說過要發生的事，就是基督必須受害，並首先從死裡復活，將光明帶給猶太人和外族人。」

便到各會堂去宣講：「耶穌是上帝的兒子。」聽的人都大吃一驚，說：「他不就是那在耶路撒冷迫害信徒的人嗎？他到這裡來不是要把大馬士革的信徒押去見祭司長嗎？」但掃羅越發有能力，引經據典證明耶穌是基督，使大馬士革的猶太人驚慌失措。

到了以弗所，保羅離開亞居拉夫婦，獨自進入會堂跟猶太人辯論。
