眾聞此、怒甚、呼曰、大哉、以弗所人之亞氐米也、

眾聞此大怒、呼曰、大哉以弗所人之亞底米也、

眾聞之、憤甚、咆哮曰：『大哉依法所人之諦雅納！』

When they heard this, they were furious and began shouting:“ Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”

What’s more, he also brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place.”For they had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian in the city with him, and they supposed that Paul had brought him into the temple.The whole city was stirred up, and the people rushed together. They seized Paul, dragged him out of the temple, and at once the gates were shut.As they were trying to kill him, word went up to the commander of the regiment that all Jerusalem was in chaos.

The coasts and islands see and are afraid, the whole earth trembles. They approach and arrive.Each one helps the other, and says to another,“ Take courage!”The craftsman encourages the metalworker; the one who flattens with the hammer encourages the one who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldering,“ It is good.” He fastens it with nails so that it will not fall over.

These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

When her owners realized that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities.Bringing them before the chief magistrates, they said,“ These men are seriously disturbing our city.
