When he was about to set sail for Syria, a plot was devised against him by the Jews, so a decision was made to go back through Macedonia.He was accompanied by Sopater son of Pyrrhus from Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus from Thessalonica, Gaius from Derbe, Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus from Asia.These men went on ahead and waited for us in Troas,but we sailed away from Philippi after the days of Unleavened Bread. In five days we reached them at Troas, where we spent seven days.

For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual benefits, then they are obligated to minister to Jews in material needs.So when I have finished this and safely delivered the funds to them, I will visit you on the way to Spain.I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.
