A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.

只是那行法術的以呂馬（這名翻出來就是行法術的意思）敵擋使徒，要叫方伯不信真道。

王吩咐人將術士、用法術的、行邪術的，和迦勒底人召來，要他們將王的夢告訴王，他們就來站在王前。

有一個人，名叫西門，向來在那城裏行邪術，妄自尊大，使撒馬利亞的百姓驚奇；無論大小都聽從他，說：「這人就是那稱為神的大能者。」他們聽從他，因他久用邪術，使他們驚奇。

經過全島，直到帕弗，在那裏遇見一個有法術、假充先知的猶太人，名叫巴‧耶穌。

你們中間不可有人使兒女經火，也不可有占卜的、觀兆的、用法術的、行邪術的、用迷術的、交鬼的、行巫術的、過陰的。凡行這些事的都為耶和華所憎惡；因那些國民行這可憎惡的事，所以耶和華－你的神將他們從你面前趕出。

站起來吧！用你從幼年勞神施行的符咒和你許多的邪術；或者可得益處，或者可得強勝。你籌劃太多，以致疲倦。讓那些觀天象的，看星宿的，在月朔說預言的，都站起來，救你脫離所要臨到你的事。

又將他們所鑄的牛犢用火焚燒，磨得粉碎，撒在水面上，叫以色列人喝。

若是你的右眼叫你跌倒，就剜出來丟掉，寧可失去百體中的一體，不叫全身丟在地獄裏。若是右手叫你跌倒，就砍下來丟掉，寧可失去百體中的一體，不叫全身下入地獄。」

掃羅吩咐臣僕說：「當為我找一個交鬼的婦人，我好去問她。」臣僕說：「在隱‧多珥有一個交鬼的婦人。」於是掃羅改了裝，穿上別的衣服，帶着兩個人，夜裏去見那婦人。掃羅說：「求你用交鬼的法術，將我所告訴你的死人，為我招上來。」婦人對他說：「你知道掃羅從國中剪除交鬼的和行巫術的。你為何陷害我的性命，使我死呢？」

於是法老召了博士和術士來；他們是埃及行法術的，也用邪術照樣而行。

因為你們體恤了那些被捆鎖的人，並且你們的家業被人搶去，也甘心忍受，知道自己有更美長存的家業。

他們就把外邦人的神像和他們耳朵上的環子交給雅各；雅各都藏在示劍那裏的橡樹底下。

埃及行法術的，也用邪術照樣而行。法老心裏剛硬，不肯聽摩西、亞倫，正如耶和華所說的。

這樣，掃羅死了。因為他干犯耶和華，沒有遵守耶和華的命；又因他求問交鬼的婦人，

你雕刻偶像所包的銀子和鑄造偶像所鍍的金子，你要玷污，要拋棄，好像污穢之物，對偶像說：「去吧！」

他們雕刻的神像，你們要用火焚燒；其上的金銀，你不可貪圖，也不可收取，免得你因此陷入網羅；這原是耶和華－你神所憎惡的。可憎的物，你不可帶進家去；不然，你就成了當毀滅的，與那物一樣。你要十分厭惡，十分憎嫌，因為這是當毀滅的物。」

這樣，你們無論甚麼人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的門徒。」

並在欣嫩子谷使他的兒女經火，又觀兆，用法術，行邪術，立交鬼的和行巫術的，多行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹動他的怒氣，

到那日，人必將為拜而造的金偶像、銀偶像拋給田鼠和蝙蝠。到耶和華興起，使地大震動的時候，人好進入磐石洞中和巖石穴裏，躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。

有人對你們說：「當求問那些交鬼的和行巫術的，就是聲音綿蠻，言語微細的。」你們便回答說：「百姓不當求問自己的神嗎？豈可為活人求問死人呢？」
