亦所以償吾心期、終不致有所愧忝。因是平生勇氣、至今未衰。必欲獻吾之身、以弘基督。生可也、死亦可也。

因是天主亦舉之於萬有之上、鍚以聖名、舉世無匹、萬古流芳、使天上人間乃至地下一切生靈、莫不聞其名而屈膝、眾口同聲、咸稱耶穌基督為主、而歸榮於天主聖父焉。

眾皆驚駭、歸榮天主曰：『偉大先知、崛起吾中！』又曰：『天主實眷下民！』

統轄受造物、樂此無盡藏。』是知天主已將天地萬有、交其掌管、而絕無例外也。惟此事至今尚未實現；今所見者、乃耶穌降生為人時、本輸天神一籌、俾藉天主之聖寵、為普世生靈親嘗死亡之味；及其既死、則已冠以光榮尊貴之冕矣。
