and lends at interest or for profit, will he live? He will not live! Since he has committed all these detestable acts, he will certainly die. His blood will be on him.

If I say to the wicked,‘ Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn a wicked person to turn from his way and he doesn’t turn from it, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.

I also shook the folds of my robe and said,“ May God likewise shake from his house and property everyone who doesn’t keep this promise. May he be shaken out and have nothing!” The whole assembly said,“ Amen,” and they praised the Lord. Then the people did as they had promised.

If I say to the wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him— you don’t speak out to warn him about his wicked way in order to save his life— that wicked person will die for his iniquity. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn a wicked person and he does not turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.

instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth.

So they are surprised that you don’t plunge with them into the same flood of wild living— and they slander you.

All the people answered,“ His blood be on us and on our children!”

Or is God for Jews only? Is He not also for Gentiles? Yes, for Gentiles too,

When you enter any town, and they don’t welcome you, go out into its streets and say,‘ We are wiping off as a witness against you even the dust of your town that clings to our feet. Know this for certain: The kingdom of God has come near.’

And they were saying many other blasphemous things against Him.

If they do not welcome you, when you leave that town, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”

What should we say then? Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained righteousness— namely the righteousness that comes from faith.But Israel, pursuing the law for righteousness, has not achieved the righteousness of the law.Why is that? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.As it is written: Look! I am putting a stone in Zion to stumble over and a rock to trip over, yet the one who believes on Him will not be put to shame.

For you, brothers, became imitators of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, since you have also suffered the same things from people of your own country, just as they did from the Jewswho killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets and persecuted us; they displease God and are hostile to everyone,hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. As a result, they are always completing the number of their sins, and wrath has overtaken them at last.

But when some became hardened and would not believe, slandering the Way in front of the crowd, he withdrew from them and met separately with the disciples, conducting discussions every day in the lecture hall of Tyrannus.And this went on for two years, so that all the inhabitants of Asia, both Jews and Greeks, heard the message about the Lord.

Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation producing its fruit.

If a man sleeps with his father’s wife, he has shamed his father. Both of them must be put to death; their blood is on their own hands.If a man sleeps with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death. They have acted perversely; their blood is on their own hands.

As He also says in Hosea: I will call Not My People, My People, and she who is Unloved, Beloved.And it will be in the place where they were told, you are not My people, there they will be called sons of the living God.

Don’t be too quick to appoint anyone as an elder, and don’t share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began to oppose what Paul was saying by insulting him.Then Paul and Barnabas boldly said:“ It was necessary that God’s message be spoken to you first. But since you reject it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles!For this is what the Lord has commanded us: I have made you a light for the Gentiles to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”

In all the synagogues I often tried to make them blaspheme by punishing them. I even pursued them to foreign cities since I was greatly enraged at them.

Therefore, let it be known to you that this saving work of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen!”

If you are ridiculed for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

I ask, then, have they stumbled in order to fall? Absolutely not! On the contrary, by their stumbling, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous.Now if their stumbling brings riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full number bring!Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. In view of the fact that I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,if I can somehow make my own people jealous and save some of them.For if their rejection brings reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

Yet you dishonored that poor man. Don’t the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts?Don’t they blaspheme the noble name that was pronounced over you at your baptism?

“ If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death. He has cursed his father or mother; his blood is on his own hands.

Instead, I preached to those in Damascus first, and to those in Jerusalem and in all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works worthy of repentance.

If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town.

I tell you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

So those slaves went out on the roads and gathered everyone they found, both evil and good. The wedding banquet was filled with guests.

for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, since the same Lord of all is rich to all who call on Him.For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of everyone’s blood,for I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole plan of God.
