Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia. Then Paul spent all his time preaching. He was a witness to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.

Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.

The believers immediately sent Paul to the coast, but Silas and Timothy stayed at Berea.Those who escorted Paul brought him to Athens and then left with instructions for Silas and Timothy to join him as soon as possible.While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols.

You yourselves can testify that I said,‘ I am not the Messiah but am sent ahead of him.’

During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him,“ Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas( called Barsabbas) and Silas, men who were leaders among the believers.

We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co- worker in God’s service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith,

The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him,“ We have found the Messiah”( that is, the Christ).

And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed!

But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the Lord, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, to Israel his sin.

As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

Paul came to Derbe and then to Lystra, where a disciple named Timothy lived, whose mother was Jewish and a believer but whose father was a Greek.
