But as he left, he promised,“ I will come back if it is God’s will.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.

然爾當曰、若主旨賜我生命、則必如此以行、

如主許我、我必速至、第不誇者之言可得而知、且知其能矣、

保羅定意航海、過以弗所、免久留亞西亞、乃欲速行、或可於五旬節至耶路撒冷、○

使我循上帝旨、歡然就爾、偕爾獲安、

祈禱間常求上帝、賜我坦途、終能就爾、

惟上帝許我、我則行是、

又一人曰、主、我從爾、但容我先別家人、

此時、我不途間見爾、若合主命、與爾久居、是我所望、

既竟此事、保羅定意行遊馬其頓、亞該亞、往耶路撒冷、曰、至耶路撒冷後、我欲觀羅馬矣、

我賴主耶穌、欲速遣提摩太涖爾、悉爾事而慰我心、蓋提摩太慮爾之事甚誠、外此別無同心、眾惟一己是謀、不為基督耶穌、爾曾試提摩太、知其與我從事、猶子之於父、以傳福音、我視己事如何、欲即遣之、且我賴主、將速至爾邦、

即勿淫、勿食血、勿食祭偶物、勒死牲、戒此幸甚、伏惟萬福、

昔於亞筆月、暮夜之時、爾之上帝耶和華導爾出埃及、故必於是月、守逾越節、奉事爾上帝耶和華。

少進、俯伏祈禱曰、父與、若可得免、則以此杯去我、雖然、非從我所欲、乃從爾所欲也。

若上帝旨、使爾為善遘難、較為惡受苦者、超軼遠矣、

我儕見其不受勸、則止、曰、主旨得成矣、

今而後、余請兄弟安、當為德備受慰、同心輯和、賜仁愛平康者、上帝也、願佑爾焉、
