What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

Then I will make you a fortified wall of bronze to this people. They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to save you and deliver you. This is the Lord’s declaration.I will deliver you from the power of evil people and redeem you from the control of the ruthless.

Whenever the Lord raised up a judge for the Israelites, the Lord was with him and saved the people from the power of their enemies while the judge was still alive. The Lord was moved to pity whenever they groaned because of those who were oppressing and afflicting them.
