耶和華上帝摶土為人、噓氣入鼻、而成血氣之人。

昔爾燔祭、恆獻禮物、我不以此罪爾兮、爾宅有牛、爾牢有羊、我不取之兮、林中百獸、萬山群畜、俱屬我兮、曠野禽獸、我所諳悉、天下萬物、咸歸於我、如我載飢、毋庸告爾兮、

如爾作惡貫盈、於彼無所損。如爾為善不倦、於彼無所加、

孰先施主、而得其報、

賢者惟自獲其益、原無所裨於上帝。

上帝之神造我、上主之氣生我。

上帝假我以年、一息尚存、

昔耶和華上帝、創造穹蒼、使之張舒、奠定寰宇、使之生植、賦億兆以吹噓之氣、畀生民以活潑之神、今告厥僕曰、

蓋我儕賴之而生、而動、而存、如爾作詩者有云、我儕為其赤子焉、

斯皆惟主是賴、隨時主給以食兮、主給之、彼食之、主溥恩膏、彼得果腹兮、主遐棄之、則不得安、主斷其氣、則就死亡、歸於土兮、主乃復鼓其氣、百物受造、寰宇之中、煥然一新兮。

當諭此世之富者、心勿傲、無定之財勿恃、惟賴永生上帝、洪賜我眾、百物以享之、

耶和華展舒穹蒼、建立地極、以生氣賜億兆、乃論以色列族之事、而頒其命曰、

我告耶和華曰、爾乃吾主兮、我之福祉、皆爾所賚、

如此、則可為天父之子、蓋天父以日照夫善不善、以雨濡夫義不義者也、

獸之生命、人之性靈、操自上帝。

但往學我欲矜恤、不欲祭祀之語、其意何歟、蓋我來、非招義人、乃招罪人悔改耳、○

然上帝善視人、雨降自天、果生以時、賜我贏糧、喜溢於心、如是、證己為上帝矣、

如定其意旨、不使人通呼吸、

耶和華上帝乎、爾以生氣賜於億兆、請立一人、統轄會眾、

我之責人、不恆蓄怒、恐予所造之人、膽喪氣餒、

爾設節期、我所深憾、爾立大會、我甚不悅、雖獻燔祭禮物、我不悅納、雖供肥犢為酬恩之祭、我不眷顧、謳歌之聲、撤於我前、琴瑟之音、我不欲聞、

主耶和華曰、我必降災、斯邦之民、以及野獸、林木、田土所產、我怒甚烈、靡人遏止。以色列族之上帝、萬有之主、耶和華曰、燔祭之肉、爾可食之、與禮物無異。昔我導爾祖出埃及、我諭以命、不第為燔祭禮物也、我所諭者、及使其敬聽我言、我必為其上帝、彼將為我民、如遵我命、必獲享通。

二人乃俯伏曰、上帝乎、爾以生氣賜於億兆、曷以一人獲罪、而怒及會眾。
