Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said:“ People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious.

不过是有几样辩论，为他们自己敬鬼神的事，又为一个人名叫耶稣，是已经死了，保罗却说他是活着的。 (cunps)

那城里的书记安抚了众人，就说：“以弗所人哪，谁不知道以弗所人的城是看守大亚底米的庙和从宙斯那里落下来的像呢？ (cunps)

有干旱临到他的众水，就必干涸；因为这是有雕刻偶像之地，人因偶像而癫狂。 (cunps)

耶和华如此说：“你们不要效法列国的行为，也不要为天象惊惶，因列国为此事惊惶。众民的风俗是虚空的；他们在树林中用斧子砍伐一棵树，匠人用手工造成偶像。 (cunps)
