On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. (niv)

Then Agrippa said to Festus,“ I would like to hear this man myself.” He replied,“ Tomorrow you will hear him.” (niv)

Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard.Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining. (niv)

Several days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish. He sent for Paul and listened to him as he spoke about faith in Christ Jesus. (niv)

“ A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (niv)

You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean.” (niv)
