弟兄们，你们与犹太地区上帝的各教会，就是在基督耶稣里的各教会，有同样的遭遇，因为你们也受了同胞的迫害，像他们受了犹太人的迫害一样。这些犹太人不但杀了主耶稣和先知们，又把我们赶出去。他们令上帝不悦，且与众人为敌，阻挠我们传道给外邦人，使他们得救，以致常常恶贯满盈，但上帝的愤怒终于临到他们身上。

暴怒的人挑启争端；忍怒的人止息纷争。

心中贪婪的，挑起争端；倚靠耶和华的，必得丰裕。

（只是从来没有像亚哈的，因他受耶洗别王后的唆使，出卖自己，行了耶和华眼中看为恶的事。

但那不顺从的犹太人煽动外邦人，使他们心里仇恨弟兄。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们当着人的面把天国的门关了，自己不进去，要进去的人，你们也不容他们进去。

他们又煽动百姓、长老和文士，就突然来捉拿他，把他带到议会去，

那七日将完，从亚细亚来的犹太人看见保罗在圣殿里，就煽动所有的群众，下手拿住他，

你们以为我来是要使地上太平吗？不！我告诉你们，是使人纷争。

但不信的犹太人心里嫉妒，聚集了些市井流氓，搭伙成群，煽动全城的人闯进耶孙的家，要把保罗和西拉带到民众那里。
