因為弟兄們，你們也像在猶太地基督耶穌裏的上帝眾教會那樣了。因為你們在自己同國人手下所受的苦、也正如他們在猶太人手下所受過的一樣。那些猶太人不但殺害主耶穌和神言傳講師，並且驅逐我們；不但不使上帝喜歡，並且跟一切人作對，攔阻我們向外國人講論而使他們得救——這無非是要讓他們自己的罪一直貫滿的；但上帝的義怒終於臨到他們到極點了。

愛發烈怒的人能惹起紛爭；不輕易發怒的、會平息吵鬧。

貪慾勃勃的惹起紛爭；倚靠永恆主的、必得豐裕。

只是從來沒有人像亞哈的；他出賣了他自己、去行永恆主所看為壞的事；王后耶洗別教唆了他，

但是不信的猶太人卻激起了又毒壞了外國人的心來害弟兄們。

『經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們當人面前把天國關起來；你們自己不進入，又不容那正進入的人進入。

他們又聳動了人民、長老和經學士、突然而來、抓住司提反，把他帶到議院，

那七天快要完的時候，有亞西亞的猶太人見保羅在殿裏，就激動所有的羣眾、下手拿他，

你們以為我來是將和平給地上麼？不，我告訴你們，倒是將分裂呢。

但是猶太人卻起了妒忌的心，招聚些市井惡人，搭夥成羣，轟亂那城，闖進耶孫的家，想法子要將保羅西拉帶交民眾。
