弟兄们，你们效法了犹太地区在基督耶稣里属神的各教会，因为你们也受了自己同胞的苦害，就像他们受了犹太人的苦害那样。这些犹太人不但杀了主耶稣和先知们，也驱逐了我们，并且不讨神的喜悦，又与所有的人作对，阻止我们向外邦人传道使外邦人得救。这样，他们常常积满自己的罪孽，而神的震怒在最后临到了他们身上！

易怒的人，挑动纷争；不轻易发怒的，使争辩平息。

贪得无厌的，挑动纷争；依靠耶和华的，必得丰裕。

但那些不肯信从的犹太人怂恿外邦人，使他们心里敌视弟兄们。

“经文士和法利赛人哪，你们这些伪善的人有祸了！因为你们在人的面前封闭了天国。你们自己不进去，也不让正要进的人进去。

他们又煽动民众、长老和经文士们就忽然来抓住司提反，把他带到议会，

那七天快要结束的时候，从亚细亚省来的一些犹太人看到保罗在圣殿里，就煽动整个人群，下手捉拿他，

你们以为我来了，是给地上带来和平吗？不是的！我告诉你们：其实还是分裂。

但那些不肯信从的犹太人嫉妒了，就招聚一些市井无赖，成群结伙，扰乱城市。他们闯进耶森的家，搜寻保罗和赛拉斯，要把他们带到民众那里。
