弟兄姊妹，你们的遭遇和犹太地区基督耶稣的众教会的遭遇一样。你们受到了自己同胞的迫害，他们也受到了犹太人的迫害。这些犹太人杀死了主耶稣和众先知，又迫害我们。他们不但冒犯上帝，还与所有的人为敌，阻止我们传福音给外族人，唯恐他们得救。这些人恶贯满盈，上帝的烈怒终于临到了他们头上。

脾气暴躁，惹起争端；忍耐克制，平息纠纷。

贪得无厌的人挑起纷争，信靠耶和华的富足昌盛。

从来没有人像亚哈那样受妻子耶洗别唆使，一心做耶和华视为恶的事。

但那些顽梗不信的犹太人却怂恿外族人敌视信徒。

“虚伪的律法教师和法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！因为你们当着人们的面关闭天国之门，自己不进去，也不让别人进去。

又煽动百姓、长老和律法教师抓住司提凡，把他押到公会。

当七日的洁净期将满的时候，有些从亚细亚来的犹太人发现保罗在圣殿里，就煽动众人去抓他。

你们以为我来是要使天下太平吗？不，我告诉你们，我来是要使地上起纷争。

那些不信主的犹太人却妒火中烧，他们召集了一群市井无赖，在城里引发骚乱，闯进耶孙的家企图把保罗和西拉揪出来示众。
