爾等諒憶當時吾儕在斐立比、雖已飽嘗辛艱凌辱、然賴我天主、再接再勵餘勇可賈、復於重重磨折之中、為爾傳述天主福音。

門徒乃乘夜以筐自墻縋之下。

千總遂召巴總二人至、曰：『速備步兵二百、騎兵七十、槍兵二百、今夜亥刻往凱塞里；並須備馬、令葆樂乘之、護送至總督裴力斯處。』

事為二人所覺、乃避之呂高尼、遍歷路司德、德朋二邑及其四境、傳揚福音。
