同他到亚细亚去的人有庇哩亚人毕罗斯的儿子所巴特、帖撒罗尼迦人亚里达古和西公都，还有特庇人该犹、提摩太、亚细亚人推基古和特罗非摩。

你们也知道，我们之前在腓立比遭受了迫害和凌辱，遇到强烈的反对，但仍然靠着我们的上帝放胆向你们传扬祂的福音。

他的门徒趁夜间用筐子把他从城墙上缒下去。

喇合的房子就在城墙边，她就住在城墙上，于是她用绳子把二人从窗口缒下去，并对他们说：“你们往山上去，免得被追捕的人发现。你们要在那里躲三天，等追捕的人回城以后才可以走。”

于是，千夫长召来两名百夫长，吩咐道：“预备二百名步兵、七十名骑兵、二百名长枪手，今晚九时出发去凯撒利亚。要给保罗预备坐骑，护送他安全抵达腓利斯总督那里。”

保罗和巴拿巴得知后，就逃往吕高尼的路司得和特庇二城并周围的地区，在那里继续传扬福音。
