忽然，地震得很厉害；主的使者从天上下来，把石头辊开，坐在上面。

为要开瞎子的眼，领被囚的出牢狱，领住在黑暗中的出监牢。

愿被囚的人的唉哼，达到你面前；愿你用你的大能，使那些已定死罪的人可以存留。

为要垂听被囚的人的叹息，解救定了死罪的人；

主耶和华的灵在我身上，因为耶和华膏了我，叫我传福音给困苦的人；差遣我去医治伤心的人，向被掳的宣告自由，向被囚的宣告释放；

就在那时，大地震发生了，那座城倒塌了十分之一，因着地震而死的有七千人，其余的人都很害怕，就把荣耀归给天上的神。

锡安哪！至于你，因着我与你立约的血，我把你中间被囚禁的人从无水的坑里释放出来。你们被囚仍有盼望的人哪！要归回保障。今天我要宣告：我必加倍补偿给你。
