信的人必有神蹟隨著他們，就是奉我的名趕鬼，用新方言說話，

耶穌醫好了各樣的病，也趕出許多的鬼，並且不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。

那七十二個人歡歡喜喜地回來，說：“主啊，因你的名，連鬼也服了我們。”耶穌說：“我看見撒但，像閃電一樣從天墜落。我已經給你們權柄，去踐踏蛇和蠍子，勝過仇敵的一切能力。絕對沒有甚麼能傷害你們了。

耶穌看見群眾圍攏了來，就斥責那污鬼說：“聾啞的鬼，我吩咐你從他身上出來，不要再進去。”那鬼大聲喊叫，使孩子重重地抽了一陣瘋，就出來了。孩子好像死了一樣，所以許多人都說：“他死了！”

彼得卻說：“金銀我都沒有，只把我有的給你：我奉拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名，吩咐你行走！”

甚至有人把保羅貼身的手巾圍巾拿去，放在病人身上，病就好了，邪靈也出來了。那時，有幾個趕鬼的猶太人，周遊各處，擅自用主耶穌的名，向身上有邪靈的人說：“我奉保羅所傳的耶穌的名，命令你們出來。”有一個猶太人士基瓦，是祭司長，他的七個兒子都作這事。邪靈回答他們：“耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道；你們是誰？”邪靈所附的那人就撲到他們身上，制伏了兩人，勝過了他們，使他們赤著身帶著傷，從那房子逃了出來。所有住在以弗所的猶太人和希臘人，都知道這件事；大家都懼怕，尊主耶穌的名為大。

他既然靠著十字架勝過了一切執政掌權的，廢除了他們的權勢，就在凱旋的行列中，把他們公開示眾。

耶穌召齊十二門徒，給他們能力、權柄，制伏一切鬼魔，醫治各樣的疾病，

耶穌斥責他說：“住口！從他身上出來！”污靈使那人抽瘋，大聲喊叫，就從他身上出來了。

城門前宙斯廟的祭司，牽著幾頭公牛，拿著一些花環來到門口，要同群眾一起獻祭。巴拿巴和保羅兩個使徒聽見了，就撕裂衣服，跳進群眾中間，喊著說：“各位，為甚麼這樣作呢？我們也是人，性情和你們一樣，我們傳福音給你們，正是要你們遠離這些虛妄的事，歸向永活的神，就是那創造天、地、海和其中萬物的神。

彼得對他說：“以尼雅，耶穌基督醫好你了！起來，收好你的褥子！”他就立刻起來。
