耶稣医好了各样的病，也赶出许多的鬼，并且不许鬼说话，因为鬼认识他。

那七十二个人欢欢喜喜地回来，说：“主啊，因你的名，连鬼也服了我们。”耶稣说：“我看见撒但，像闪电一样从天坠落。我已经给你们权柄，去践踏蛇和蝎子，胜过仇敌的一切能力。绝对没有什么能伤害你们了。

彼得却说：“金银我都没有，只把我有的给你：我奉拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名，吩咐你行走！”

甚至有人把保罗贴身的手巾围巾拿去，放在病人身上，病就好了，邪灵也出来了。那时，有几个赶鬼的犹太人，周游各处，擅自用主耶稣的名，向身上有邪灵的人说：“我奉保罗所传的耶稣的名，命令你们出来。”有一个犹太人士基瓦，是祭司长，他的七个儿子都作这事。邪灵回答他们：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道；你们是谁？”邪灵所附的那人就扑到他们身上，制伏了两人，胜过了他们，使他们赤着身带着伤，从那房子逃了出来。所有住在以弗所的犹太人和希腊人，都知道这件事；大家都惧怕，尊主耶稣的名为大。

他既然靠着十字架胜过了一切执政掌权的，废除了他们的权势，就在凯旋的行列中，把他们公开示众。

耶稣召齐十二门徒，给他们能力、权柄，制伏一切鬼魔，医治各样的疾病，

耶稣斥责他说：“住口！从他身上出来！”污灵使那人抽疯，大声喊叫，就从他身上出来了。

城门前宙斯庙的祭司，牵着几头公牛，拿着一些花环来到门口，要同群众一起献祭。巴拿巴和保罗两个使徒听见了，就撕裂衣服，跳进群众中间，喊着说：“各位，为什么这样作呢？我们也是人，性情和你们一样，我们传福音给你们，正是要你们远离这些虚妄的事，归向永活的神，就是那创造天、地、海和其中万物的神。

彼得对他说：“以尼雅，耶稣基督医好你了！起来，收好你的褥子！”他就立刻起来。
