He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith.

God showed that there is no difference between us and them. That’s because he made their hearts pure because of their faith.

Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

In Christ there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.

For he is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while still uncircumcised.
