Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said,“ The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.”

Some of the believers were Pharisees. They stood up and said,“ The Gentiles must be circumcised. They must obey the law of Moses.”

But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said,“ It is necessary to circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”

But then some of the believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees stood up and insisted,“ The Gentile converts must be circumcised and required to follow the law of Moses.”

有數人自猶太來、教諸兄弟曰、苟非依摩西例、受割禮、則不得救、

余生八日、即受割禮、固以色列裔冑便雅憫支派也、世為希伯來人、以教法言之、則為𠵽唎㘔人、論及熱中、則窘逐教會、論及守法稱義、則無疵可摘、然始以此為我益、今緣基督、吾以為損、且悟諸事、較吾主基督耶穌至道為損、故篾棄諸事、視為糞土、致獲乎基督、

蓋聞吾中數人、出而動搖爾、惑亂爾、謂必受割禮、守摩西例、第我儕無是戒、

基督賜我自由、我當賴之以立、勿復為奴、而脫於軛、我保羅語爾、若割禮可恃、則基督無益、我復言之、受割者宜守全法、

倘肯為我證、則知我初崇拜、奉極嚴之教、所為效𠵽唎㘔人、今為望上帝所許列祖言、我立而被審、

蓋見此人、乃惑民之徒、震動擾亂天下猶太人、為拿撒勒黨之首、

眾聞此、則讚主、謂保羅曰、兄弟見猶太信者數萬、皆銳志守法、
