Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said,“ The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.”

But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said,“ It is necessary to circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”

But then some of the believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees stood up and insisted,“ The Gentile converts must be circumcised and required to follow the law of Moses.”

有幾個從猶太下來的人教導弟兄們說：「你們若不照著摩西的規條接受割禮，就不能得救。」

我出生後第八天就受了割禮，我是以色列人，屬於便雅憫支派，是道道地地的希伯來人。論守律法，我是法利賽人；論熱心，我曾經迫害教會；論律法要求的義，我是無可指責的。但是為了基督，我從前以為有價值的，現在認為毫無價值。不但如此，我看萬事都毫無價值，因為認識我主基督耶穌最寶貴。我為祂失去了一切，我把失去的一切視為垃圾，好得到基督，

「聽說有幾個人從我們這裡去了你們那裡，教導你們必須接受割禮並遵守摩西的律法。他們的言論使你們大感困惑。其實我們從來沒有授權他們這樣做。

基督釋放了我們，是要我們得自由。所以，要站穩了，不要再被奴僕的軛轄制。聽著！我保羅鄭重地告訴你們，如果你們接受割禮，基督對你們就毫無益處。我再次警告所有接受割禮的人，他們必須遵守全部的律法。

他們認識我很久了，如果他們肯作證的話，他們可以證明我從小就屬於猶太教中最嚴格的法利賽派。現在我站在這裡受審，是因為我盼望上帝給我們祖先的應許。

我們發現這個人惹事生非，到處煽動猶太人鬧事。他是拿撒勒教派的一個頭目，

大家聽了，都同聲讚美上帝，又對保羅說：「弟兄，你知道數以萬計的猶太人信了主，他們都嚴守律法。
