原來我們在許多事上都有過失；若有人在言語上沒有過失，他就是完全的人，也能勒住自己的全身。

其實世上沒有行善而不犯罪的義人。

我也知道，住在我裏面的，就是我肉體之中，沒有善。因為立志為善由得我，只是行出來由不得我。我所願意的善，我不去做；我所不願意的惡，我反而去做。如果我去做我不願意做的，就不是我做的，而是住在我裏面的罪做的。我覺得有個律，就是我願意行善的時候，就有惡纏着我。

他們既蒙聖靈差遣，就下到西流基，從那裏坐船往塞浦路斯去，到了撒拉米，就在猶太人各會堂裏宣講上帝的道，也有約翰作他們的幫手。他們走遍全島，直到帕弗，在那裏遇見一個術士－猶太人的假先知，名叫巴耶穌。這人常和士求‧保羅省長在一起。士求‧保羅是個通達人，他請巴拿巴和掃羅來，要聽上帝的道。只是術士以呂馬（他的名字翻出來就是行法術的意思）敵對使徒，設法使省長遠離這信仰。掃羅，又名保羅，被聖靈充滿，定睛看他，說：「你這充滿各樣詭詐奸惡，魔鬼的兒子，一切正義的仇敵，你還不停止扭曲主的正道嗎？現在你看，主的手臨到你身上，你會瞎眼，暫時看不見日光。」立刻迷濛和黑暗籠罩着他，他到處摸索，求人拉着手領他。省長看見所發生的事就信了，因對主的教導感到驚奇。

但內中有塞浦路斯和古利奈人，他們到了安提阿也向希臘人傳講主耶穌的福音。

那些日子，門徒增多，有說希臘話的猶太人向希伯來人發怨言，因為在日常的供給上忽略了他們的寡婦。

保羅和巴拿巴跟他們發生了激烈的爭執和辯論；大家就決定指派保羅、巴拿巴和本會的幾個人，為所辯論的事上耶路撒冷去見使徒和長老。

我們又從那裏開船，因為遇到逆風，就貼着塞浦路斯的背風岸航行，

我看萬事盡都有限，惟有你的命令極其寬廣。

是因他們觸怒了他的靈，摩西就用嘴說了急躁的話。
